Meagan – Program Staff
Meagan came to AIM Halton with an energy, creativity, and excitement for what AIM stands for! She has a University degree in International Development and Anthropology and a College diploma in Social Service Work. Meagan has an Aunt with special needs whose sassy personality and personal determination has been her own drive to working with individuals with special needs.
Meagan has worked in day programs, group homes, after school programs, summer camps, and 1:1 respite support. She loves incorporating all creative outlets into her programs, as she feels it truly allows individuals to freely communicate and express themselves!
So what’s her passion, you ask? Well it’s people! She feels everyone has a story to tell and loves encouraging people to tell it! Outside of the program, Meagan is a competitive board game player and taco enthusiast! Meagan is very excited to bring her AIMazing knowledge and support to the participants of AIM Halton!
Bonnie – Program Staff
Bonnie came to AIM with over 15yrs experience as a support worker. She has worked at Community Living Burlington for 14yrs, working in residential homes, a respite house, day programs and also as a Transitional Planner. Bonnie also has past experience as a horse-back riding Instructor and taught at T.E.A.D (The Equestrian Association for the Disabled). She volunteered in her teens for several years to assist with Therapeutic Riding Lessons at Windrush Stables and with Erin Oaks and loves combining her two passions…people and animals!
Bonnie has two amazing children and has a great love for theatre and the arts. Bonnie is a huge animal lover and has both owned and fostered many animals.
Bonnie enjoys all of the new friends she has met at AIM as well as finding new ventures out in the welcoming community!
