RALLY FOR PETITION E-6674: Fix the code, virtual is vital.
Saturday, September 6, 2025
2:00–5:00 PM
Waterloo Public Square, 75 King St South, Waterloo
Virtual disability supports have become a lifeline: affordable, flexible, and accessible.
But here’s the problem: in-person disability support services are tax-exempt, but virtual support services are not.
That means people who rely on virtual services are unfairly paying hundreds to thousands of dollars in taxes every year. Money that could go to essential needs and more services.
This isn’t equitable access to essential supports. It’s time to end the tax and fix the code!
Join our RALLY and sign Petition e-6674! Live Music, Local Vendors, Guest Speakers & the Wing Monster Food Truck will be there!

What's a Glimmer?
Inspired by the work of Deb Dana, “Glimmers” as those precious moments that bring our lives a sense of peace, joy, and calm. Watch for them and embrace them, Glimmers are everywhere. A Glimmer may be:
- Hearing a favorite song
- Sunlight on your skin
- The sound of laughter
- The quiet beauty of nature
- The feeling of a dog's furry ears
- Connecting with loved ones
